So, on Thursday, I went to Sukabumi from Bandung by a scooter with my friend. My friend drove it. It was my first time riding scooter that far. It was about 4 hour drive. When I got home, I had dinner and got shower.
The next day, which was yesterday, I didn't feel good since I woke up but I had to go out to get my phone fixed and buy some groceries. It was a really hot day. When I got home, I got a really bad headache. I forced myself to sleep. When I woke up, my head felt even worse. So, I got a massage (and also kerokan in Indonesia) and fortunately I felt better after that.
Well, move on. On 22nd, my campus held a food display event--we usually call it Study Case. It was actually final project for Pastry and Kitchen's sophomores because on junior year, we don't major Pastry, Kitchen, Food & Beverage Service, or Room Division Service anymore. We're all gonna study Hotel Management.
These pictures were not only taken from the event, but some of them were taken during the practical days. Because--if you read my blog--during this January, we were studying in the kitchen. I actually didn't take many pictures of the event nor during the practical days, but I recorded it and I'm gonna make a video of it. Stay tuned, okay?
Have a nice weekend! <3 p="" xx="">

P. S. I didn't enjoy high school because I had some friendship issue and I also didn't like cooking nor baking, but I had no idea that I would enjoy my time with them so much! Love you, too :P

I was about to post this last night but then suddenly my phone died (I used wifi from my phone). It happened so suddenly. It's still not working. I feel kinda lonely without it.
But move on, I love this outfit. It's like Korean Ulzzang style. My friend told me I look like a Korean with big eyes.
Honestly, last week had been really busy. We had food display for our final project. My group consisted me and my 3 other friends. It was scheduled on January 28th but my lecturer suddenly said it'd be held on 22nd. Our ingrediets just arrived on D-1 and there were a lot of things to do. We had to make cake decorations, show piece, petite fours, praline, plated dessert, and breads. We only had a day to make them. It was tiring. Even though my gruop didn't win, I feel relieved that 3rd semester is over.
And on January 15th, it was my friend's birthday and we came to her house and threw a little pool party. We also had sleepover and in the morning we went thrift shopping together. Hope you like the video!

Let's Get the Beat is actually a Honda Beat commercial song but the scooter in these picture is a Yamaha Mio Soul. It's not an advertisement post or anything. I only used the scooter as the property.
This place is next to my friend's--not the friend on the photos--house. First time I saw it--which was years ago, I wanted to take picture there and I finally did it! The place is just so photogenic!
We took these photos on January 1st. It was a hot day and wearing that outfit made me sweat like a pig.
My friend and I do photoshoot together quite often but we never really took photos together unless selfies, but since she brought a tripod and the place is wide and nice, we decided to take pictures together.
I honestly can't drive motorcycle nor scooter. I am learning, though. I can ride bike well and I can keep my balance. But driving scooter or motorcycle kinda freaks me out because when I was in middle school, I tried to drive it but I ended up falling. Right now, I can only drive it on a straight empty road, hahaha. I hope I can drive it well and get a lisence.

This week had been really busy. This month I have to study full in the kitchen and it's tiring. I was in 10 days break and suddenly I had to come at 7 am to campus. I am not used to morning activities because my lectures are always in the afternoon and evening. It's not that working in the kitchen that tires me up, but the morning shift.
On the first day, I fell asleep right after I got into my room from campus. But other days, I couldn't sleep because I had to do laundry, dishes, cleaning my room, etc. I went to campus from Monday to Saturday. My pastry group was in charge as pastry chefs twice this week. We had to take care of our basics (freshmen), recipes, ingredients, tools, portions, plating, serving, and other things. Plus, on Saturday--when my group was in charge of pastry chefs--we had chocolate painting lesson. It was busy and kinda tiring.
This outfit is perfect to wear when I'm lazy but I have to go out in this such cold weather.
I am actually tired and feeling really sleeping right now so if my writing is weird or wrong or anything, I'm sorry. I think I am going to sleep now.
Good night! xx

Happy new year, guys! Hope 2016 will be more amazing than the years before!
Soooo this is my first post in 2016 and this is also my first food post because new year, new me, right? Haha. Just kidding. If you haven't known, I'm actually a pastry student so making food (pastries, actually) is what I learn in university. Even though I study pastry, but I don't really like something sweet.
So I was home from Dec 24th until today morning--I'm already in my university room now. When I went grocery shopping, I was a bit shocked becauce the supermarket had gochujang (Korean chili paste) because my hometown is a small city. So, I decided to make one of my faves and yet simple Korean food. This is called bibimbap. People usually use beef bulgogi for bibimbap but I used chicken breast because that's what I had at home.
And I also decided to post it on my blog because it turned out good, yummy, and photogenic.

Ingredients:
  • Rice
  • Carrots
  • Chayotes
  • Bean sprouts
  • Spinach
  • Chicken breast
  • Egg
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • Sesame oil
  • Oyster sauce

I didn't mention the amount of the ingreadients because it depends on your choice and it's different than pastry products when you really have to use the exact amount of the ingredients or else it will fail. But it's different with kitchen (non-pastry) food.

Steps:
  1. Wash the rice and cook it in the rice cooker. After it's cooked, put a half bowl or any amount you'd like in a bowl. (Mine was already done because we always have rice at home)
  2. Make a sunny side up egg. Put it on top of the rice.
  3. Sautee the chicken breast with a bit of oyster sauce and sesame oil. You can add a bit of salt or/and sugar if you want to.
  4. Cut the carrots and chayotes in julienne cut.
  5. Boil the carrots and rinse in a small bowl and mix them with sesame oil and oyster sauce.
  6. Do the 5th step to all the vegetables.
  7. Put all the chicken, the vegetables, and one tablespoon (or any amount you'd like) of gochujang on to of the sunny side up egg around the egg yolk.

And viola! It's not difficult, is it? I hope it's helpful :D
